Over the past decade, we have been committed to bringing you the best service possible when receiving your payments in the currency of your choice. And thanks to our new banking partners you can now apply to get paid from your employer/client in a unique USD bank account with your name as the beneficiary.

In this post, we will go over this new feature which will make receiving your salary and client payments outside of the US much more seamless. This optimization to our services makes it so that clients/companies that usually ask for a bank account with your name as the beneficiary can now pay you to a unique account under your name!

Through these new uniquely named bank accounts in USD for ACH transfers, you can also receive payments from other places and freelance marketplaces like Freelancer.com, Fiverr, Airbnb, Upwork, Toptal, Guru and others.

Receive payments in USD through ACH with Bitwage

The Automated Clearing House (ACH) network is an electronic bank-to-bank money transfer. This network provides the necessary infrastructure for client/employer payments to reach Bitwage's bank accounts without a hassle.

Unlike other funding options like wire transfers or credit cards, sending USD through ACH is much cheaper for clients and employers. This can vary, between banks, and depending on the banks that our clients use, the fee for this service could come out to be a few cents.
